Adams

June 24-25, 2006

We drove to Adams, where I highcentered my Impreza. After fixing that mistake we hiked up to the lake and continued up the North Ridge. Halfway up I felt like shit, so I traversed over and skied the diamond snowfield off the North Ridge. The snow was shitty. The others skied NFNWR and the Adams Glacier.

The next day it was clear that I had a sinus infection. Dave and Amar bailed for home. The rest of us traversed the Lava Glacier and started up Lava Ridge. Phil and Sky went to the summit and met the Hummels, and skied the ridge. Sam, Vincent, Greg, and I skied the couloir coming off the lower side of the ridge. The snow was ok.

I was fairly disgusted with the circumstances and failed to adequately document my flailure with photographic evidence.

I said goodbye to everybody that evening; I left Seattle for San Diego a few days later.
