Lassen!

July 9, 2006 I drove to Lassen and hiked up the South Side trail. I skied from the summit ridge, but the runnels were fairly gigantic. I took another lap on the slopes directly above the parking lot; here the snow was nice corn. I continued south after a stressful search for a gas station. I spent the night next to Topaz Lake on the CA/NV border. The next day I rolled into San Diego where I had a mini-epic in its own right. No more skiing for a while; SoCal is somewhat lacking the glacier department.
